What a great concept behind this video, to mash together many people’s two favorite films into a hilarious parody. The sound of Scarface’s classic scene where Tony Montana repels his enemy gangsters with a mini-gun, shouting, “Say hello to my little friend” is dubbed over Han Solo shooting his way through stormtroopers in Star Wars. The guy (or gal) who made this video clearly had a lot of time on his hands to be able to trawl through both of these classic movies and find the similarities between them. There are clever comparisons made between the Michelle Pfeiffer character in Scarface and Princess Leia, as well as between Han Solo’s piracy and Tony Montana’s gangsterism.

The themes of money, power and revenge

Are highlighted in both movies as these are major motivations for both Solo and Montana. There are plenty of sequences here where Solo insults Jabba the Hut using the voice of Montana: “If you f*&% with me, you’re f£)@ing with the best!” The most hilarious thing about this clip is that it has been created as if it is a genuine trailer for a movie that will be coming out next year called Scar Wars. Man, I bet a lot of people would want to see this, especially geeks and students who have wasted years of their lives watching these movies over and over again until they know the scripts forward and backward.

My favorite bit in the hole goddamn clip is Han Solo gesturing angrily to Princess Leia and saying, with the rough-edged voice of Tony Montana, “Want a piece o’ me?” Other characters from both movies such as Darth Vader and Montana’s number 2 whose name I can’t remember right now make cameo appearances in this video, serving the overall concept very well. If you like movies or even if you don’t and you just want to have a good old laugh then you should watch this straight away without hesitation. It’ll make you want to start inventing your own combinations. The best I came up with was Donnie Fargo, a cross of course between Donnie Darko and Fargo.

‘So what is this clip?’ I hear you ask. ‘More sporting accidents? Why should I bother watching it?’ To which I would reply, ‘Yes, more sporting accidents but these are the crème de la crème, and make no mistake.’ You might ask, ‘Is it sophisticated drawing room comedy?’ Frankly no. ‘Is it tasteful?’ Hell no. ‘BUT is it funny?’ Oh yes indeed, and that’s the most important thing when watching clips on the internet.

At number 6 on this weird pop chart

is a truly absurd gymnastics accident during which this guy jumps so far that he actually looks like he is flying. He ends up smacking his head into one of those bouncy blocks they use in the sport. Watching him go is really mindblowing. You’ll be left thinking, ‘How the hell’d he do that without the aid of some kind of equipment?’ In at number 5 is a frankly horrific accident happening to a racing car which manages to be reduced to only half a chassis and one wheel before it goes skidding and sliding into a crash barrier. I’m certain this accident was fatal which kinda detracts from the humor element but never mind.

Number 4 is a motor racing accident

but even more absurd – on a tight corner one car flips out totally, spinning through the air before crashing down on to the race track in a frenzy of smoke and busted smithereens. Now everyone knows ice hockey is a rough old sport and clip number 3 really does that side of it justice, what with an player getting all cut up by an ice skate and bleeding profusely all over the rink. Number 2 doesn’t disappoint either – a football quarterback runs with the ball only to be tackled and break his leg in a seriously flexible and bendy way.

It’s so absurd you gotta just see it!

And now ladies and gentlemen for the grand finale, the number 1 weirdest and funniest sporting accident is (drum roll please) another hockey player who, after a collision at the goal mouth, bleeds like a goddam waterfall from his throat. Let’s hope he survived that ‘little scratch’.

Are you ready for a bit of senseless anarchy? Ever been curious to know what exactly happens when you introduce a brand new iPhone to a high-speed blender? Then check this funny clip out. The tagline is that the iPhone can do so much but will it blend? The white-coated boffin in charge of the experiment is called Tom Dickson and he takes out the iPhone, puts it into the blender and presses the smoothie button. As you’d expect, the little gadget is completely destroyed as a subtitle reading ‘Don’t try this at home’ appears.

We are treated to a close-up action replay

during which we see every tiny piece of the broken iPhone get churned up into even tinier pieces, it’s screen shimmying off, its buttons all spraying against the blender’s walls. This process goes on and on until the destroyed cellphone is ground down into a very fine black powder.

When Tom lifts the lid off the blender

nasty acrid smoke leaks from out the top of it and Tom declares that we shouldn’t breathe this in. No shit Sherlock. He then puts the black powder into a smart-looking bowl as if he’s going to serve it at a dinner party. The answer at the end of the clip is,as you would expect, ‘Yes it blends!’ No one has suggested that this might be a total waste of time and money probably because it’s so damn funny to watch.

Apparently this clip was made in

response to a strong demand from YouTube viewers for such an experiment to be filmed. This might make you think that there are some pretty weird people out there with peculiar notions about entertainment, or maybe there are just plenty of people who hate Apple and want to see broken iPhones at the click of a mouse. Who honestly knows why? Who cares? What else does this Tom Dickson dude get up to in his spare time? Slow-cooking laptops in microwaves? Feeding PSPs into industrial shredders? Baking webcams in breadmakers? I bet he has a lot of friends.

If you’re looking for a real selection pack of funny bloopers then you’ll surely love this link. Consisting mostly of stills, feast your eyes on almost four minutes of mess-ups and weird images from the sporting world, the animal kingdom and celebrity culture. There’s a kinda theme going on with a whole bunch of crazy sportspeople who appear to be touching each other up: soccer players standing in a wall before a free kick with their hands on each others’ asses, ice skaters touching each other in the same region and wrestlers pulling at revealing parts of their leotards.

There are also some provocative slogans on display such as a woman wearing a vest saying ‘Stop staring at my tits! (Touch them)’, the sentence ‘If only my wife was this dirty’ written in the dust gathered on a car boot and a roadsign reading ‘Please drive carefully. We have two cemeteries, no hospital.’ Other crazy sportspeople in this clip include a figure skater who looks like he has just punched out his dance partner and a pro wrestler in mid-air about to jump onto a plastic cow. It really makes you wonder what the point of rules are in sport if all the sportspeople are getting up to so much bad craziness. This thought becomes even more powerful when up comes a funny blooper of a soccer referee casually flipping the bird to the players around him. He just doesn’t care anymore! How long did he last in the professional game with an attitude like that?

The bloopers continue with a very cute little cat

putting its paws over a far bigger and rougher-looking dog, making you wonder what happened to poor little kitty afterwards! Still on the animal theme, there’s a very artificial looking pigeon reading a book entitled How to Shit on Humans. If pigeons went to school this would surely be the only textbook they’d need to study, right? Probably the funniest of the funny bloopers is a rather sick-looking cat with no hair on him whatsoever. The hilarious comment beneath reads: ‘Gillette – the best a cat can get’.

A lot of men like to think they can be weightlifters but it’s not an easy sport to master. This clip shoes some of the funniest pitfalls and accidents that can befall the amateur, ranging from the slapstick to the downright painful. The one thing these sequences all have in common, however, is that they are extremely funny. We begin with what looks like a serious competition or at least a professional gym.

The weightlifter appears to be wearing the proper gear

and professional-looking staff look on. But don’t let that fool you. As soon as he raises that bar he goes toppling over backwards onto his ass and manages an almost perfect somersault. Actually, the funny things that happen after a weightlifter has made that initial lift is kind of the theme of this clip, with other stars falling flat on their stomachs or, in one case, a little boy no more than 10 losing control of the dumbbell and careening into his dad. The whole clip is set to the music of ‘Hey You Get Off Of My Cloud’ by the Rolling Stones and the lyric ‘I was sick and tired, fed up of this’ is very apt in the case of a weightlifter who looks very annoyed after the big circular weights slide off his dumbbell.

Perhaps the piece de resistance of this whole clip

comes at around 54 seconds when some guy who looks pretty muscular and like he knows what he’s doing utterly loses control in a very funny way. When he lets go of it, the dumbbell zooms down to the floor very quickly, trapping him beneath it. Lucky for him help is at hand and he isn’t left to try to sort himself out. Immediately after that is a lighter moment in which a dad lifts his two babies alternately, using the handles of their mobiles like weights. Very funny but perhaps not as funny as a weightlifter who has to deal with a cat slowly climbing up his leg towards his groin area.

Be prepared to laugh your socks off when you check this link out! These booze-snatching monkeys behave funny just like humans: knocking over glasses, falling off tables, stumbling home, rolling around on their backs hysterically. However none of them have yet been witnessed singing karaoke or throwing a punch at a nightclub bouncer – for now these are human-only alcoholic activities. This weirder-than-weird BBC documentary shows how on the Caribbean paradise island of St Kitts, cheeky vervet monkeys have been stealing the local grog and turning into booze-hounds. Originally imported from Africa during the slavery period, these crazy mammals got a taste for the sauce by drinking sugar cane left to ferment in the fields around them.

Nowadays they feed their addiction by stealing beer

wine and cocktails from local resorts. There’s a great scene in this where one monkey hurtles down a tree, onto the beach and straight up to an unsuspecting sunbather. While the victim is face-down in the sand, this smooth operator sticks its head right into her cocktail and sups away. Another one deftly plucks a plastic cup off the beach and runs away with it without losing any of the ‘amber nectar’ inside. The monkeys’ drinking habits mirror humans’; while some of them will go to any length for liquor, others are teetotallers who prefer soft drinks, knocking over bottles of Orangina to get at that tasty bright liquid. Perhaps these particular monkeys are the ‘designated drivers’. Studies of these funny vervets have yielded useful info about human alcoholism, with the conclusion that a liking for the booze is determined mainly by our genes.

Perhaps the strangest revelation of the clip

is that the harder the drinker a monkey is, the more respected and trusted leader he or she becomes. If there is a human parallel to this then it must be the Russian people who elected Boris Yeltsin, a world leader who regularly embarrassed himself after a tipple. There have been similar cases of other animals with a taste for alcohol but few can match these Caribbean monkeys for their monkeying around!

Unsure what happened here but the pilot obviously completely misjudged his path down to the runway – absolutely nuts! This helicopter cost millions, not only did he manage to ruin the helicopter also a few lives where lost too. An unfortunate accident but shows its not as easy to pilot a helicopter as you may think. The Airforce should have recognized his skills was much better suited in the navy than as a helicopter pilot! This has got to be on of the biggest tragic fails!
